Adjunct Faculty, Wayne State University

As an IT Executive with over three decades of experience, Meena held various management positions leading global teams for EDS/HP and their clients. Later as an entrepreneur, she managed all aspects of small businesses. Since 2018, she has been an Adjunct Faculty at the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business.

Meena has been volunteering with the MCWT, Girl Scouts, and various community organizations. She previously served on the Board of the Girl Scouts of Macomb County and the Girl Scouts of Southeast Michigan. She was looking for opportunities to get involved with organizations supporting women battling breast cancer. Meena is a five-year breast cancer survivor, and the foundation’s mission is very personal to her. She has seen the challenges of cancer on patients and their families – both as a cancer patient, and as a caregiver to her late husband while he fought a losing battle with cancer.

Meena has a master’s degree in Statistics from India and received her Master of Business Administration from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the Industrial Engineering College, Wayne State University.
