Naina grew up in Southeast Michigan and graduated from Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills before going on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and History at Northwestern University. She worked at Education First for six years, teaching and organizing events for adult language learners in Beijing, China. Naina was instrumental in introducing students to the culture of community service through a fundraising event and service day in honor of Bethel China.

Naina’s passion for public health and experience with loved ones’ battles with breast cancer brought her to SOPF nearly three years ago and she has been serving on its Board of Directors for two years. As Volunteer Chair, she is honored to work with many dedicated volunteers and enjoys hearing the diverse stories of what brought them to SOPF.
