Meet the Board Member: Jackie Riley

It’s an honor to join the Shades of Pink Foundation Board of Directors. I’m very excited to work with a passionate group of volunteers who are dedicated to a very simple yet important mission: to promptly help others who are facing financial difficulties due to breast cancer obstacles.

My background is education. For over 45 years, I taught in both the public and private school sectors, the most recent being 31 years at the Upper School of Detroit Country Day School. My various roles consisted of classroom teacher, Dean of Students, and Director of Global Initiatives.  Being involved in student/faculty activities was always a large part of my DCDS life, so I look forward to contributing my time and efforts to SOPF events.

Jackie resides in Birmingham with her husband Bob and two black Labs Gus and Hank, and feels very fortunate that their two children and grandchildren live nearby!
