Shannon Brodie, Events and Fundraising
Front Line Leader Program Manager, DTE Energy
Shannon works at DTE Energy as the Front Line Leader Program Manager. She manages this leadership development program for all new supervisors in the company’s two largest operational groups, Gas & Electric. Before this position, she held other roles in Human Resources, Corporate Strategy and Investor Relations. Shannon has additional leadership experience with several of DTE’s employee resource groups including AIM (differently abled) and SURGE (young professionals). Shannon currently serves on DTE’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council representing the Women of DTE.
Prior to her decade at DTE, Ms. Brodie held various positions at Wright & Filippis including Customer Service, Organizational Improvement and Office Management. A life-long Michigan resident, Ms. Brodie received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Wayne State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Davenport University. She also completed the Michigan Council of Women in Technology’s Elevate Program and earned a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Certificate from University of South Florida.
Shannon previously volunteered as a Detroit Economic Club’s Career Readiness Academy team member and supported the Reading Works board of directors. She now also serves on the Inforum Southeast Michigan Regional Council and Midwest Energy Association’s Energetic Women Leadership Team.
